I still remember the limerick my children learnt about the wise old owl! The more he heard, the less he spoke, the less he spoke, the more he heard! With pollution levels crossing 600+ in and around NCR, the government in its wisdom has not declared it an emergency to shut down, office and establishments. Neither have the offices and establishment taken the initiative to shut down. Obviously, employee health is neither of importance nor of any consequences. No respect for the most important resources! We can have a national emergency when a judgement has to be announced, but this is not important enough. Where are the independent directors? Do they actually realize their responsibility?
