INTELLECTUALLY AND ETHICALLY?

The global corporate world is preparing to face challenges that will make them ‘differently enabled’. While corporate India is battling demons and skeletons of governance and failing financial institutions, the global world is looking at incorporating environment impacts and effect on business continuity, Board diversity, which means, more inclusivity, leading to gender diversity, sexual orientation and race diversity on the Boards (effective July 2020!) and Data protection, instead of team retention. Are we ready for even the basic morality and ethics driven board? The scandal ridden corporate world has yet to prove this through genuine and documented board disagreement on, policy and strategy decisions, and through transparent disclosures. The Auditors are another beast altogether. The current political and corporate discourse on morality, ethics, tolerance and acceptance of dissent should be viewed positively and with the intent of treating this malaise as an important and critical disruption, which could lead to course correction. Are we ready for this? Intellectually and Ethically?
